Social and
Networking Events
BCC Philippines meets at least once a month at various venues.
Sponsored by member or non-member companies, these are opportunities
for companies and individuals to present their businesses to the
members and the wider British business community. Special
events
and Guest speaker presentations are held often in cooperation with
other foreign chambers and business organizations eg the
Queen’s
Birthday Ball held in June was organized in conjunction with the
British Women’s Association.
Government Relations
In coordination with the British Embassy, Chamber members are invited
to participate in Trade Missions and Ministerial Visits.
These
provide opportunities to take their businesses forward.
Information
Members are informed of important issues and events useful to the
British business community through this website and these publications:
- The Annual Membership Directory, published in the
summer
of each year which contains the members’ services, products
and
contact information. This is very useful for those who wish to
establish business relations.
- The periodic Newsletter publishes valuable general
and
practical information regarding Chamber events and initiatives,
including the activities and projects of the British Embassy.
Advocacy
Through direct or indirect access to high level Philippines and UK
government resources, the Chamber is able to brief and provide up-dates
on legislative issues impacting on business and have the opportunity to
influence their formulation in the interests of British business.
